Upon returning from lunch, you note that a quality audit will be taking place. Some of the team members are upset, because there is an approaching deadline, and have therefore requested that the audit be moved to the following day. As the project manager, what should you take?

A Allow the audit to take place

The correct response is to allow the audit to take place. Audits are not always planned, and the purpose is to increase efficiency and reduce the cost of quality. Discovering existing inefficiencies will highly benefit the team. Audits are a win-win; even if sometimes it feels like an inconvenience, the big picture must remain at the forefront.
